Who are we?
We are a tutoring company, designed to help students succeed in math. Mathology Tutoring was founded in 2015, and with twenty years of teaching math we have successfully helped hundreds of middle school children. Even though Middle School is our area of specialty, we serve all grades from kindergarten to collegiate level. We have a proven record of success and have assisted students with different backgrounds and learning styles. In addition, we offer a variety of options so we can personalize our clients needs. We know and understand the importance of building a strong foundation in math. Our focus is to prepare students for the rigorous high school level math classes. We strive to use a variety of teaching methods such as incorporating manipulatives, technology and providing fun enriching activities into our lessons.
Our Services
We offer a variety of online services to satisfy every customer. Some of our services include:
Individual Tutoring
Meeting with a tutor individually allows students to have his or her own individualized plan, which caters towards their need. We offer 30-minute and 60-minute sessions. It is recommended that students take a pre-test so their strengths and weaknesses can be determined. We have helped with homework, improved organization, built and improved confidence, getting them ahead, reinforcing basic skills and number sense, extra practice, improve test taking skills, and prepare students for the rigor in their upcoming classes.
Self-Paced Classes
Our self-paced classes are great when you need flexibility. You make your own schedule and meet when it is convenient to you. Each self -paced course consist of video lessons, quizzes, hands-on activities and games to keep your child engaged and motivated.
Live classes
We offer live math courses during the summer months. These classes are a great way to get your child ahead in math for the upcoming school year. The math classes can also keep children’s skills sharp over the summer. Students are expected to attend when the class meets and complete any extra practice. Registration will open in March. Check back in March to register and also subscribe to our mailing list so you can get the latest updates when these courses become available
